Gilead Best Consulting Ltd was registered in Nigeria in 2002 and incorporated in 2003. The company started business as an enterprise under the name “Gilead Services” in 2002 and became incorporated on 2nd April 2003 with its present name. The company has participated and carried out research assignments for World Bank projects and Benue State government projects that covered four West African countries – Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, and Benin Republic in 2002-2003.
Gilead conducted research for UNICEF, international organizations, and the British Council in 2020-2022 on the study of language in education in Nigeria, covering the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. The selected states include Benue, Imo, Ogun, Rivers, Bauchi, Kano, Sokoto, and Taraba respectively, sponsored by the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) UK.
